Who you are contracting with

The seller is RMR Solutions LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, at 6255 San Antonio Dr NE, P.O. Box 91021, Albuquerque, NM 87199, contactable at info@rmrsolutions.us. These terms apply to purchases of an Architect Pro licence key made through this site. Your purchase is complete when we send the key to the address you gave at checkout.

Where we sell, and who sells it

Direct sales on this site are for the United States only.

• Outside the United States, Windows and macOS Pro are sold through the Microsoft Store and the Apple App Store. In those cases the store is the seller, not us: their terms govern the sale, they handle tax, refunds, and your local consumer rights, and these terms do not apply to it. What you are licensed to do with the software is the same either way.
• Linux is free everywhere and comes directly from us. No store carries it. Everything below about payment and refunds simply does not arise; the licence terms do.

We check where a purchase is coming from before taking payment, but that check is based on your network location and is not perfect. Buying direct from outside the United States does not create rights against us under your local law that we have not agreed to here, and we may refund and cancel such a purchase.

What the key gives you

A perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use The Architect Pro on one platform — Windows or macOS, whichever you bought.

• Unlimited machines within that platform. The key is locked to a platform, not to a device. Reinstall, replace hardware, and run it on as many of your own machines as you like.
• It will not work on another platform. A Windows key will not activate macOS and vice versa. The app says so plainly rather than failing quietly.
• Free updates within the major version you bought.
• The licence is for you. Please do not publish, resell, or share the key.

Linux keys are issued free of charge and carry the same licence, minus anything in these terms that concerns payment.

Price, tax and payment

Prices are shown on the purchase page in US dollars. Any sales tax is calculated at checkout from the billing address you give and shown before you pay. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.

Delivery

The key is emailed to you, normally within a minute of payment. If it has not arrived within ten minutes, check your spam folder — a licence key looks like random text and filters dislike it — then write to info@rmrsolutions.us from the address you paid with and we will re-send it.

If you lose the key later, ask again from the same address. There is no account to be locked out of.

Refunds

Thirty days, no argument. Bought the wrong platform, or it does not work on your setup? Reply to your Stripe receipt within 30 days of purchase and we refund it in full. This is offered on top of whatever rights the law gives you and does not replace them.

Because your key is delivered as soon as you pay, checkout asks you to confirm you want it that way. That confirmation does not affect the 30-day refund.

If you bought through the App Store or the Microsoft Store, ask the store for the refund, not us — we have no record of your purchase and no way to return money we never received.

What a refund does not do

Your key is validated by the app on your own machine, with no network call. That means we have no way to switch a refunded key off, and we do not pretend otherwise. We ask that you stop using the software once you have been refunded. The whole design depends on the app never having to ask a server for permission, and this is the honest cost of that.

What we promise about the software

We provide The Architect as described on this site and will make reasonable efforts to fix defects. Nothing here excludes or limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country, including any statutory guarantee that digital content matches its description and works as it should.

Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the software is provided as is. The Architect connects to machines you control and runs commands you configure; we are not responsible for what those commands do, for data on the hosts you connect to, or for anything a tool running inside a session does on your behalf. Keep your own backups.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy

What we collect and how long we keep it is set out in our privacy notice. In short: an email address, which platform you bought, and the key itself.

Changes

We may update these terms for future purchases. The version that applies to you is the one published when you bought, and changing them later does not change what we already owe you.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes belong to the state and federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. Since we sell direct only in the United States, that is where the sale takes place.

If you bought through an app store instead, the store's terms govern that purchase and say where such disputes go.
